Good evening. Day two was very eventful on Tuesday. The weather was fairly nice. Not as cold, but it was a bit overcast and windy. A little rain here and there, but nothing that would ruin the day at all. In fact, we welcomed it for the most part. Some of the areas we shot at were Grotto Falls, Elkmont, Chimneys, Sinks and Greenbriar... all in Smoky Mountains National Park. We saw lots of beautiful scenery yesterday, and hiked a lot (2.8 miles up and down the mountain just to get to Grotto Falls alone).

At the first location, we saw a large black bear about 50 yards away from us, three turkeys (full grown Jakes), and two deer (Doe). One of the deer walked within 5-10 feet of me to check me out. That was pretty cool. Rob and I got to get very close to them.
The film we shot all week was spectacular. I can not wait to see it developed and color transferred. Guess that will have to wait until we return from overseas. Joe, Joey and Allan did a spectacular job once again. Also, kudos to Keith and Rob on a job well done this week. They are a pleasure to work with and I really enjoy their company.

Smoky Mountains |
Well, we are now back in Birmingham to spend time with our families one last evening before we fly off to Hong Kong and Chile. It is nice to have internet access again. But, time to go for now. I have a beautiful daughter to visit with for the rest of the evening. More updates coming soon.
Chris
